Company FixIS implemented for the client FixDistribution s.r.o. complete virtualization and migration of the existing server infrastructure to a modern cloud architecture. The goal was to increase flexibility, reduce costs and ensure uninterrupted access to systems from any location.

Main elements of implementation:

  • Server Virtualization – More than 15 separate servers were completely virtualized and moved to the cloud environment.
  • Dual-channel tunneling and redundancy – An architecture with two independent Internet connections, secured by tunneling and a network balancer, has been implemented, guaranteeing high availability of the systems.
  • Encrypted connectivity and synchronization – Encrypted VPN tunnels were established and full synchronization with Microsoft Azure and Office 365 services, including authentication and cloud storage, was set up.
  • No disruption to employees – All work was planned and executed in such a way that it did not disrupt the company’s day-to-day operations and employees were able to continue their work uninterrupted.
  • Backup and monitoring – Centralized encrypted backup of all key data and systems with automatic control, including 24/7 online monitoring of all infrastructure components, was implemented.
  • Reduced costs and increased performance – By migrating to the cloud, FixDistribution was able to reduce server infrastructure costs by more than 60% while doubling the available computing power.
  • Readiness for growth and mobility – The new solution provides flexible scaling, secure access from anywhere, and greater systems availability in the future.
