SSD (Solid-State Drive)

An SSD is a storage device that uses memory chips instead of mechanical platters, offering faster read and write speeds than traditional hard disk drives (HDDs). SSDs improve the performance of systems, reduce operating system boot times and reduce power consumption. They are ideal for servers, workstations and high-performance applications that require fast data access.
